  • ‘Busybot’, a Perth-based startup with over 820k+ registered users on their Slack-integrated project management bot.
  • A machine learning and bot specialist, who has worked in developing chatbot automation services for local, health and well-being startup Boundlss;;
  • A team of Murdoch students who created an IBM Watson-powered chatbot for Kleenheat which included speech-to text an image recognition integration;
  • Australian messaging platform specialists On_Msg (presenting via video conference);

Douglas Nicol leads On Message, Australia’s first dedicated, specialist Messenger Agency. On_Msg combines smart ideas, data and technology to help companies build long term relationships with customers through messaging platforms like Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp and Snapchat. On_Msg was a recent finalist for the 2016 AdNews Specialist Agency of the year awards.

Mike Camara is a software developer and recent Computer Science graduate from Murdoch University. Mike, along with 5 other students, developed a consumer-facing chatbot for Kleenheat as part of the final unit of their degree. The bot included multiple integrations, including IBM Watson; natural language processing; machine learning; Google speech-to-text; multilingual support and image recognition.
